Kneeling Plank and Towel Pull

The key to this move is to keep your shoulders and hips perfectly still keeping your torso parallel to the floor at all times, and keep a straight line from your ears to your shoulders, and hips.

  1. In a kneeling plank position look straight down at floor, keep shoulders down onto lower, rear rib cage and directly over hands.  Never allow elbows to lock.  Hold and pull slightly taught a hand towel, remembering to keep shoulders directly over hands at all times.

  2. Begin with right hand dragging towel on floor, and slowly sliding/dragging hand up no more than 6 inches.  Slide/drag towel back to beginning hand position, directly underneath shoulder.

  3. Lower right hand dragging towel no more than 6 inches to navel keeping weight evenly distributed over shoulders and hips.  Keep shoulders and hips parallel to floor, trying not to allow weight to shift.

  4. Repeat on steps 1 through 3 on left side.

  5. Repeat both sides for x2-3 times.
